PTM is a support platform for people who are exploring the possibility of Christian Ministry as well as those in their early years of leading pastoral care or mission in or through a local Church.
PTM has also become a useful resource over recent years for Pastors, Youth Leaders, Retired Ministers, Volunteer Church Department Leaders and Charity Organisations in the UK and abroad that are actively involved in local, regional or national mission.

PTM was created in 2012 and continues to be edited by Graeme Parkins, an Elim Minister based in North Yorkshire UK. Graeme has been engaged in professional service delivery following training and accreditation as a Bereavement Counsellor and a statutory sector Lead Chaplain for over 16 yrs. He has also regularly delivered mentoring and non-line management support at University level for student trainee placements in local Charities and the statutory sector.
Graeme also currently serves the North East Elim Regional Pastoral Care Team with his wife Jenny and they particularly lead the Retired Ministers and Spouses Network in the North East. They have one daughter, three sons and ten grandchildren. Graeme continues to serve on the Leadership Team of the Elim Ryedale Church at Malton.
Biography
Graeme and his wife Jenny trained for the Christian Ministry at the Birmingham Bible Institute (1971-4) have served God in leading an Christian Outdoor Centre in Wales and Churches in Scotland, West Yorkshire, the Midlands and in North Yorkshire since 1989.
Graeme was Ordained in 1979 and holds a Bachelors Degree in Theology granted by Manchester University via Regents Theological College and a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management granted by Kent University via Christchurch College, Canterbury.
Graeme's Elim denominational service has included appointment to the National Youth Committee with special responsibility for leading Youth Missional Teams (Euro teams) on the mainland of Europe (1979-89), Presbytery Youth Director in West Yorkshire while Pastor at Halifax Elim Church and District Superintendent for the Eastern Sector of North Yorkshire from 1990 during the Pastorate of Scarborough Christian Fellowship (EPC) and latterly the Oasis Family Centre. Graeme and Jenny led SCF for 23 yrs from 1989 to 2012.
